The Novogorsk microdistrict is a gem of suburban life in Moscow due to its unique landscape and distance from major highways. Park zones and forests

The forest "Zakharyinskaya Poyma" is a large forest massif surrounding the Novogorsk microdistrict from all sides. The uniqueness of the park is that it has preserved extensive areas with terrain unchanged by humans, and correspondingly preserved flora and fauna. "Japanese Park" in Kurkino is a unique landscape project. The territory, designed in Japanese style, is conditionally divided into zones — fair pavilion, festival area, and garden. The park area is 1.5 hectares. About 200 tons of jasper and serpentinite were used for the project.

Alyoshkinsky Forest is part of a huge green belt in Khimki, named after the village of Alyoshkino that once existed here. It is good for picnics, ski walks, and morning jogs.

Sinichka River and Korostovskoye Lake are a small tributary of the Banka River. The length of Sinichka is about 15 kilometers. There are several beach areas along the river. The large Korostovsky pond has been marked on maps since 1766.
